Dr. Theodossis Honored with Educator of the Year Award

Dr. Christine Theodossis was awarded the Educator of the Year Award at the 2015 Orthospinology Annual Symposium in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Theodossis is teaching the Basic I and Basic II Modules of Orthospinology as an elective course at Sherman Chiropractic College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. A 2010 graduate of Sherman College, Dr. Theodossis returned to her alma mater in 2013 to teach anatomy and upper cervical adjusting techniques after three years associating with Dr. A.T. Wood in Canton, N.C. She earned her B.S. degree from N.C. State in Biological Life Sciences and is a recent Diplomate of Chiropractic Craniocervcial Junction Procedures.

Dr. York Joins Arkansas Board

Orthospinology Secretary, Dr. Craig York has been recently appointed to serve on the Arkansas Chiropractic Physicians Association Board of Directors. The ACPA provides a variety of continuing education seminars and representation in lobbying and insurance relations to insure continued access to quality chiropractic care for all Arkansans. The organization focuses on unity within the chiropractic profession and fosters public awareness of the safety and benefits of subluxation based chiropractic care.

Drs. Nathan Berner and Travis Hunt Join Orthospinology Teaching Team

Two of Orthospinology's rising stars, Dr. Nathan Berner and Dr. Travis Hunt, have joined Drs. Ken Humber, Jr., Mark Baker, Stephen Zabawa, Christine Theodossis and Craig York as board certified instructors. Teaching with assistance from the highly experienced, Dr. Ken Humber, Jr., Dr. Berner will conduct Basic I and II classes at his state of the art clinic in Atlanta, Georgia, while Dr. Travis Hunt will assist Dr. Zabawa at the Mayer Chiropractic Clinic in Clearwater, Florida. Dr. Travis Hunt graduated in March and will assist with hand adjusting protocols.

Drs. Licari, Theodossis and York Complete Diplomates

Drs. Melissa Licari, Christine Theodossis and Craig York are recent graduates of the inaugural class of the upper cervical Diplomate program sponsored by the International Chiropractors Association. Under the direction of the Council on Upper Cervical Care, this three-year program graduated 17 Diplomates of Chiropractic Craniocervical Junction Procedures (DCCJP) and 2 Fellows of Chiropractic Craniocervical Junction Procedures.
